„Staff Academy – professional and efficient” – trainings for PWD assistants

We invite people residing in one of the following counties: Wrocław – city of Wrocław, Świdnica, Dzierżoniów, Środa, Polkowice or Głogów to take part in the Personal Assistant for People with Disabilities training as part of the „Asystencja – ja też mogę” (Assistance – I Can Do It Too) project co-financed by the European Social Fund for Lower Silesia 2021-2027.

1. Organizational information:

• each training consists of 48 hours of training (6 training days: 4 days online and 2 days in person)
• off-site training will be conducted in the form of two-day meetings (Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday) between November 2024 – March 2025;
• the location where the training will take place will have convenient access;
• online training will be conducted in the form of 2 two-day sessions between November 2024 – March 2025;
• the training is free of charge for qualified participants;
• the accommodation and meals during the stationary training are covered by the organizer, the Skorpion Polkowice Association;
• the exact dates and location of the trainings will be provided after the recruitment process of a given group is completed;
Certificates of training completion will be issued at the end of the sessions.

2. Recruitment

The qualification for participation in each training is determined by:
• meeting formal requirements;
• order of applications;
• recruitment interview conducted on a date agreed upon with the training provider (the interview may be conducted by phone and/or via Skype/meet/zoom).
• RECRUITMENT CONTINUES UNTIL the limit of places is filled.
