PWD Assistant for the Non-Governmental Organizations– 2024 edition

Public task financed from the Solidarity Fund granted by the Minister of Family and Social Policy under the “Personal Assistant for People with Disabilities” Program – 2024 edition.
Task objective
The main objective of the task is to provide people with disabilities with access to assistant services, i.e. support in performing everyday activities and functioning in social life. The aim of popularizing assistant services is to increase the chances of people with disabilities to lead a more independent and active life.
The primary goal is to improve the functioning of a person with a disability in their environment.
Duration of the task: 01.04.2024 – 31.12.20
Place of task implementation
Personal Assistant services for people with disabilities will be provided to residents of the Środa, Głogów and Świdnica counties.
Target group
The planned number of hours of assistance services for 22 people is 8640. Depending on the degree and type/combination of disability types, the Participant may use the appropriate number of hours of personal assistance services in accordance with the Program:
- 630, 540 or 360 hours during the implementation of the program for disabled people with a certificate of significant disability and multiple disabilities (depending on individual needs),
- 540, 360 or 270 hours during the implementation of the program for disabled people with a certificate of significant disability (depending on individual needs),
- 360 hours during the implementation of the program for disabled people with a certificate of moderate disability and multiple disabilities,
- 270 hours during the implementation of the program for disabled people with a certificate of moderate disability,
- 270 hours during the implementation of the programme for disabled children up to 16 years of age with a disability certificate including the following indications: the need for constant or long-term care or assistance from another person due to the significantly limited possibility of independent existence and constant daily participation of the child’s guardian in the process of his/her treatment, rehabilitation and education – number of children 4, in the number of hours 1,080 (270 hours during the programme implementation period per participant).
